SHARE C1 Quick Guide
From unboxing to point cloud generation
Get started with SHARE C1 in a simple step-by-step workflow. This guide walks you through setup, scanning, saving, and post-processing so you can move from first use to usable point cloud data faster.
Unbox & Prepare
After opening the bag, check the main components and prepare the device for use.
- Attach the main unit to the battery handle until it is securely connected.
- Press the power button to turn on the device.
- When the blue light appears, the device is ready for the next step.
Connect the App
Download and open SHARE Capture on your phone, then connect the device in the app.
- Turn on both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth before starting the connection.
- Tap Connect Device in the app.
- Select the correct device number.
- Once the connection is successful, you can continue to project setup.
Start Scanning
Start the scan after the device is connected and complete the required setup before moving.
- Check the Pre-Work Inspection information.
- Enter the project name and set the photo interval to 0.5 or 1 second.
- Place the device on a level surface and wait for initialization before scanning.
- During the scan, hold the device in front of your body, keep a stable and natural posture, move steadily, and monitor the point cloud in real time.
Save Your Project
After scanning, wait for the project to finish saving before ending the process.
- Keep the device still while the data is being saved.
- Do not exit immediately.
- Wait until the save confirmation appears before ending the process.
Process Your Data
Export the raw data from the device to your computer and process it in SHARE PointClouds Studio.
- Open SHARE PointClouds Studio, create a new project, and add the raw data folder.
- Configure graph construction parameters based on your needs.
- Select options such as colorization, dynamic object removal, and undistorted photo output if needed.
- Choose the required output format and start processing.
- Monitor the task in the task window, and if an error occurs, upload the logs from the task history.
